This weeks DPW Challenge is to paint from a specific black and white photo, making sure the values remain the same as in the photo. I took the easy route, staying with a fairly monochromatic color scheme. It's much harder to determine the relative values when you have to contend with multiple colors. I think I may try that later this week.

  2. I like how you handled this challenge, with monochromatic. Love how you did the background outside the window. I haven't tackled this challenge yet - I'm hoping I can find an "easy" route with it! LOL

  5. I love this painting. The loose brush strokes of the window are very expressive and beautiful. The color scheme is moody and mysterious. Great work.
