Simply a Yellow Mug

                                          6x6 $90
Back to the "simple" theme- this time featuring yellow. Yellow is hard for me; I like it as an under painting and as an accent, but it easily overwhelms in a larger mass. In this one, I especially like the reflection in the metal. I'm also pretty happy with the brush work. I didn't over work it as I sometimes do.

  1. Great job at keeping it simple. I particularly love the reflection colors. Really fun "simply" series.

  2. I love this and the reflection too! I just bought a little metal bowl at a local antique store to try out in some still life setups. I also took a workshop from Carol Marine in December and am so excited to try some of the things I learned from her. Your work is fantastic and such an inspiration!
