I have used this photo reference before for a small painting, and I really like the contemplative mood. My previous painting was pretty neutral. This time I had fun with color.
Love the gestural quality that this has and also really love your choice of colors! Did you post the previous, neutral painting somewhere on your blog? It would be nice to have the link to it so that we can compare the two looks based on the same photo reference. I often will use my favorite photos more than once too. :)
