Opting For Purple

This week's DPW Challenge is to paint a market scene, and this one is based on a photo submitted by Carol Marine. There was a figure in the photo but she was quite different than this one. I love the way the canopy of the umbrellas and the shape of the flowers work to encircle the figure.

    Wow! You really made this scene sing! The red pants and green bag really are the icing on the cake for me. I love it!

    Les scènes de marché sont les plus vivantes, les plus impressionnantes aussi pour moi... Capturer les lumières, les couleurs, les odeurs et les sons...
